Issue: in 3rd and further cloned pcs no activation with general error to not contact windows servers. I suppose the trouble is the product id even if I know that the sid is the important point that have to change wi /generalize, as it does.
sid changer windows 7 18
I found GhWalk32.exe is a great tool to change the SID. I created a Hirens Boot USB drive and copied this one file to the drive. When I boot into the Hirens minu windows menu, run this file to change the sid. If you would like you can also run the PsGetsid.exe to see what the SID ID is, and verify it has changed afterwards.
This happens when im creating a "Scheduled task" , this task needs NT AUTHORITY\System but you need to select the account, when you select the account a sid/rid mapping is done and this fails. Resulting in the windows event id and error code. While searching for that i found that i cant type the username. You must select it.To reproduce. Create a GPO : Computer Configuration> Preferences> Control Panel Settings> Scheduled Tasks. Right click in the blank pane and select New> Scheduled Task (Windows Vista and later).Tab General, klik on Change user or Group. Now go through step 1-5. I found some related bug to NT Authority\system mis match. _bug.cgi?id=11677 _bug.cgi?id=11997 all are : sid s-1-5-18 SID: S-1-5-19 related. There are more. I went through. -us/library/dn617202(v=ws.11).aspx -us/library/dn579255(v=ws.11).aspx -us/library/windows/desktop/aa379649(v=vs.85).aspx And i also did see that a patch was done, but i cant find/see if this is the correct fix. ( found here : =11781 I was waiting for 4.5.2 to update my environment and hoping this is fixed. It is still expected at 7 dec. Here, typing the username results in the windows event and errors out. Did a lot of research and im 100% this is and missing mapping. Typing does not works, i dont know if this is a windows thing or a samba thing. But i found several reports where in a windows 7+ with Server 2008 also errors if you type the username. And thanks you for having a look.. you too Rowland.Which version samba are you gues running atm?> -----Oorspronkelijk bericht-----> Van: samba [mailto:samba-...@lists.samba.org] Namens Achim Gottinger> via samba> Verzonden: vrijdag 2 december 2016 3:05
The exact event from windows. Eventlog info: Source: Group Policy Scheduled Tasks. ID: 4098USER: SYSTEMError code : Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070534 No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.' This error was suppressed. So I'll wait until this bug is fixed. I tried to read the code but thats way more difficult then what i can program. :-(( I'll put this on hold for now, and do it the ugly way, bit anoying for my users but its what it is. Thanks for all the support.Greetz, Louis> -----Oorspronkelijk bericht-----> Van: samba [mailto:samba-...@lists.samba.org] Namens L.P.H. van Belle> via samba> Verzonden: vrijdag 2 december 2016 11:01

Ran into a lot of DCOM (DistributedCOM) errors on Windows 10 machines after upgrades. Looks like the TrustedInstaller from a previous application and the RunTime Broker did not give System and Local Administrators permission during a Windows 10 upgrade. It just an annoying thing but also slows down a windows 10 Login.

Scott, one option would be to have users in those offices to configure new devices using their Azure AD accounts during the out-of-box-experience (OOBE). This will register the device with Azure AD and enroll the device into the MDM (e.g. Intune). You can also take a look at AutoPilot ( -us/windows/deployment/windows-autopilot/windows-10-autopilot) to have pre-registered devices sent to these users so the devices join only to your organization.
Hi Don, for hybrid Azure AD joined devices (domain joined + registered with Azure AD) you need to explicitly set the policy to trigger provisioning of Windows Hello for Business. Take a look at the deployment guide here: -us/windows/security/identity-protection/hello-for-business/hello-deployment-guide. Based on your description follow one of the Hybrid Trust deployment models (key trust or cert trust). If you have AD FS in Windows Server 2016 and you have your PKI infrastructure you may be good following the cert-trust model.
Don, check my previous response. It seems you may be missing just the Group Policy Object to trigger provisioning of Windows Hello for Business. If you have SCCM you can push the setting as explained in this article: -us/sccm/protect/deploy-use/windows-hello-for-business-settings. If you want to use Group Policy (or even MDM) take a look at this article: -us/windows/security/identity-protection/hello-for-business/hello-manage-in-organization.
It is recommended that only one Browser window is connected to Confluence during the initial installation wizard and that no other user or health check is targeting the Confluence instance. Multiple open browser windows will be polling the Server for a status update which may affect the Setup and result in a Spring Context error as per CONFSERVER-59084 - Getting issue details... STATUS
